I am tickled pink! This afternoon, while clipping herbs for a marinade, I spotted several mature green beans! The few plants that germinated after my poor first planting have begun producing, and there are enough for dinner tonight! The “Teeny Zucchini” seemed ready to harvest, as well as a handful of yellow beans and one tomato.
The vegetable patch has been put on notice that I now expect great things from it!
I planted some pole beans…the plants are scrawny and one or two have blooms…but no bean action yet….. sadly…..
Yours look great! I can taste them now!!!
I tried pole beans one year and found them a disappointment. My bean harvest is just about at its peak now, I would say. Thanks for reading and commenting!
