Hooray!  It finally stopped raining, and I could pick beans!  Despite my worries, only a handful had grown too big and seedy, so I flung them over the fence into the rocks where the woodchucks live. 





I love the high yield of the yellow wax beans.  They also remain pencil-thin much longer than the greens, and take longer to develop seeds.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to snip, snap, blanch, and freeze my little harvest!
