I bring forsythia and pussy willow boughs inside nearly every year. This year, I borrowed an idea from my daughter’s piano teacher and turned them into an Easter tree. The forsythia are about to bloom; had I brought them in three or four days earlier, I’m sure they would have burst forth by now.And here is an egg hunt for all of you! My children found them all; how about you?
Happy Easter!

That is great! I actually did the same thing this year – used forsythia for our Easter tree. And they are blooming today! I brought them in on Palm Sunday.
Happy Easter to you! I hope you get some more spring on your end of PA this week! Rainy here today, and snow again tomorrow.

Ughh, we ended up with cold rain and a few blustery snow showers both on Easter and the day after. Even though you’ve gotten hit harder by the snowstorms that came late this winter, I think we’re colder here, and a bit behind you, botanically! My first crocuses bloomed on Good Friday! The Easter tree forsythia has begun opening up today. Thanks for stopping by!

What a perfect arrangement for Easter! Thanks for the egghunt–I missed that this year. My younger grandkids left for Florida early yesterday morning, and I didn’t even bother coloring eggs this year. Hope you had a very Happy Easter!

Sorry you missed out on Easter with your grandchildren, Rose. My children have largely outgrown the Easter egg hunt; they just stop once they have enough candy, even if there are still eggs left to find! I think they’ll still be turning up in July! Our Easter was very quiet. My husband arrived home from 8 days in Japan late on Good Friday night, so, aside from church, we made no plans for the day. Thanks for stopping by!
